Great Design
I have trawled through literally dozens of the 68,300 Google Sites currently available, and only one comes close to interesting / great design.
Douglas's abode is his home page, in the traditonal sense. Douglas is clearly involved with his site and I expect this one will grow and develop nicely. His design stands out from the GPC crowd too.
Great Content and Writing
Content is king, and the user is queen.

A site worth reading, and reading with thought! Sean has concentrated on the content, the subject matter, and the layout of his text; he forgets to make use of the Footer (A 'Back to Top' of page link would be useful) and some pages are empty still, but otherwise this site is great.

Great repository of information and historical facts and fancies about our friend, Google! Jason has brought a great deal of content to this site, but he's used poor navigation links on the front-page; clicking numbers? No good, please make a real text hyperlink.

Oooh, nice site, I enjoyed my visit, and I actually leaned about subterranean structures, geography and animals. Very good site if you *are* a caver, and a good site to visit out of general interest. This is a proper personal home-page driven by passion and expertise. Gold star.
Dimeneira's page is without doubt a great place to find reviews of great free software, but the site needs improving:
- a descriptive name;
- links to the download pages of the software, not the actual files!
- 'click here' and 'available here' as hyperlinks is unacceptable.
This site was not crafted within the GPC, so you will notice it looks strikingly different to many Google Pages sites. Makes use of 'bread-crumb' navigation across the top. Fails to explain what it is all about clearly enough.
Clear enough, but this site suffers from two problems: 1) the 'support' pages do not work in Firefox; 2) the written text is not of a high enough quality to make me understand or trust the software (a new browser) that is offered. I would like to try the SupperWarrior browser one day…
A really great site if you're a fan of F1 racing and Michael Schumacher! This is a fully functioning site that goes to show how much can be done with Google Page Creator. Ray has forgotten to place consistent navigation on every page, so you do have to return to the Home page to navigate...
Lizzy offers an extensive range of handi-crafts, a real variety of goods with great photos to check out. Lizzy needs to choose a name for her web-store as part of her online promotion strategy.
A short novel, for you to read now! Victor should consider using navigation links on every page, so that visitors can get from chapter to chapter easily. The home page would benefit from a 2 Column Layout. Great to see creative writing online for free.
Master Juan offers hacking tips and program suggestions for Windows.
This tiny website showcases some interesting graphics, and even more inspiring are some shots of web-page designs.
This fantasy site from young 'Catkiller7' could be a great introduction to the lands and people's of Selia, a Roleplay Game. Catkiller7 forgets to introduce the subject of her site clearly enough.
Phil's personal home page - full of personal stuff. Perhaps not overly interesting to everyone, but Phil and some of his friends will have great fun updating this site.
A well designed single page for Blake's card collecting hobby. Full of links to other sites, but Blakes use of images and text makes for a well designed look.
Great personal site that shows off Mike's drawing skills, photo skills, and image skills - maybe he should publish some tutorials? Mike's page has good navigation, and with a little improvement could be excellent navigation! Mike's Site always lets you know what page you're on, great!

This little personal site succeeds by having clear left-hand navigation on all pages, and sensible links in the footer, although I'd like to see some links across the top, if needed. Hmm, 'Contact Me' should never be hyerlinked to an email address! Overall? Good work Acoustic Dad!

A Farsi language site. It looks beautiful, not that I can understand any Farsi.

A Portuguese website, perhaps it's called "Of Being and Virtual Things" - to my untrained eyes, it appears to be musings about life and online-life, and it is certainly poetical and fanciful. Sadly, it cannot be translated easily due to the 'adult content' warning, but I do not see any adult content...

Mark may not use consistent navigation, but his (long) essays on computer gaming and Game Theory are interesting.
Lupka has successfully incorporated her own videos into her website, and Lupka also presents some image work of interest.
Windows tips and Google Search Hacks tips n tricks. Loadsa links to quality websites, and some great Windows tweaks for experienced Windows users. The home page needs cleaning up; the main navigation links are repeated three times! twice!
Personal home page in FOUR languages, which is an impressive concept. The Grand Duke could benefit from easier access to the 'home' link on each page, and consistent use of the Left Hand Navigation on every page. Tip: When offering movies and presentations for download, always state the file-size and file-type; e.g. My Holiday Snaps [PowerPoint; 3.2MB] as the Grand Duke does
Ben's personal home page stands out from other GPC pages as it has a unique look and feel. Ben succesfully incorporates 3rd party streaming music and web cams.
Luke's crafted a large personal site here, that has plenty of subjects. The site suffers from a slight lack of consistent navigation, and I am unable to tell what text has been hyperlinked, so I don't always know what I should click on.
Kurt has crafted a tradional home page about the things he likes, but he also offers wonderful panoramic photographs that are worth checking out.

We can all learn how to take photographs of ghosts thanks to Eibhlin site.
This is a 'listings site' - with lots of links to interesting stuff around the web, such as music, make-up, geneology and such. Shayna's site would benefit from consistent left-hand navigation, and I would like to know which links are internal links, and which links send me outside of her site.
Great impact from the first second; more content is promised, so this 'American Muslim' blog-style site should do well.
Zach hasn't got a consistent design and he does move his navigation around a bit... but he's really using the site, and so I fully expect this site to develop and become excellent.
Jack's personal home page offers clips and videos. This is a small site and makes good use GPC.
More of a tech / movie blog than a homepage. Space Meat suffers from 'mystery links' - I can't see them and I can't guess where they'll take me, but other than that there's plenty content.
Natalie is a professional web designer, and finds Google to be great for small static sites:
"It's not ideal for anyone with real web design aspirations, but for my grandmother? Maybe. It's not bad really (no ads at this time)."
Sallie uses her Google Site to promote her art, and has therefore put some thought into her presentation, although consistent navigation is lacking.
DS is a writer, and has ensured her website reflects her work well, and this site has plenty of content.
Is this the future of small business websites? A single page that says what they do, where they do it, and who they do it to! Easy.
CGI and designed images.
Nearly a great design as well as great content, but the navigation is along the bottom! Still, great use of a website.
Particularly like the snowboarding shots, and the partial nudity in the snow.
I don't know either, but this is a nice personal site.
Some great photos of ...things.
Old skool info and web help - gold star for Jeremy for the amount of content to read through.
Special Mention - It may not be great, but it caught my eye
- Handmade Car MP3 Player
- One Page Review of GPC - check the domain!
- InvisibleSun - a Blog? Great content - zero navigation =o(
- Hans Dirkse Google Page Creater Help - no navigation but great info
Every day of your life, you say something that has never been said before.
Just Frightening
I had to create a new section just for this website:
Great Google Page Reviews
